Two New Permanent Residents
We recently received a grant for 2 wonderful clients originally from the Ukraine. They are now permanent residents of Australia!
I met this beautiful couple in Christchurch when I was travelling New Zealand. They met me at the airport at midnight when my plane landed. They told me that they had heard about us, through their Australian Ukraine friends who have worked with us for their immigration matters.
They told me that they wanted to work in Australia, on a dairy farm. They had been working on a dairy farm in New Zealand and wanted to continue in this industry in Australia. They applied for a job in regional Victoria and the farm owner loved them and wanted them to work for him. They were initially on a subclass 407 training visa while they enhance their skills in the industry in Australia.
We then applied for a direct entry permanent regional visa which was granted recently!
They were so excited, because they are expecting their first child. As their baby will be born in Australia and at least one parent is a permanent resident; this child will be an Australian Citizen. Their baby will beat them to Australian Citizenship!
After they have lived in Australia for 4 years, they will be able to apply for Australian citizenship if they wish.
As I was writing this story, a beautiful bunch of long stemmed red roses – 24 of them arrived from a lovely couple!
